When you leave Sesriem gate, you pass by the White Witberg Mountain on the road to Sossusvlei.
Dead Vlei is the last dune the road leads to, right?
The area is the Naukluft Park. And Sossusvlei is the highest dune there, right?
the "dead vlei" is at the end of the road (km 69 or something like this). here you can slip into some jeeps, which bring you to to "dead vlei".... it's a little bit hidden in the dunes.
